With its spectacular, oversized blooms, the Giant Dinnerplate Dahlia ‘Café au Lait’ is one of the most sought-after varieties for weddings and romantic arrangements. The flowers range in colour from soft, creamy blends of blushed coral, peach, milky coffee, and warm caramel tones.

The luxurious blooms range from 15 - 25 cm across, making them true focal points in both the garden and bouquet. Café au Lait embodies soft romance and timeless beauty, making it a beloved choice for florists, brides, and Dahlia enthusiasts alike.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
