Formby Monach (Under the Sea) Dahlia Tuber

2025 Pre order - shipped from mid-September. Supplied as a dormant tuber.

Under the Sea has large flamboyant dinner plate sized blossoms in soft watermelon pink/peach colours. this would have to be one of my favourite dahlias as the flowers are absolutely stunning.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
