Smokey Downs is a beautiful small decorative Dahlia with unique smokey peach to watermelon-toned blooms that have a soft, muted warmth. Delicate yet distinctive, she brings a lovely, blended colour palette to the garden.

A truly delightful variety, Smokey Downs pairs effortlessly with other blooms and is perfect for creating stunning, harmonious bouquets.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
