Bracken Sarah, also known as Sand Dune, is a medium to large decorative Dahlia with a soft, glowing beauty. Its golden-yellow blooms are delicately edged in apricot, creating a warm, sunset-like gradient across each broad, gently curved petal. The flower’s full, rounded form adds classic elegance to garden beds and bouquets alike.

This variety grows tall and strong, with long, straight stems and a prolific blooming habit, making it an excellent choice for both the garden and the vase. With its long vase life and generous flower production, Bracken Sarah is a true favourite for cut flower lovers.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
