Formby Duke is a giant decorative Dahlia with flamboyant blooms in the most enchanting shades of dusky pink, exuding vintage elegance and timeless charm. The generously petalled flowers are full of presence and drama, making this variety a true standout in the garden or vase.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
