Çarlos Watermelon - Dahlia Tuber

Carlos Watermelon is a large decorative Dahlia showcasing stunning watermelon-pink blooms that bring a fresh, lively splash of colour to any garden or bouquet.

This variety features long, sturdy stems and boasts an excellent vase life, making it a top choice for cut flower enthusiasts. The plant itself grows quite tall, supported by lush, attractive foliage that adds texture and depth, turning it into a true garden showstopper.

Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.

You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
