Wine Dot is a very pretty decorative Dahlia with pale pink blooms flecked with burgundy. Some flowers have just a few delicate spots, while others are richly marked, giving each bloom a unique and charming character.
A reliable bloomer with good vase life, Wine Dot is a lovely choice for adding subtle interest and delicate beauty to both gardens and floral arrangements.
Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.
You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
