This striking red medium sized semi-cactus variety has vibrant, deep red blooms. The flowers are held on long, strong stems, perfect for cutting, and the plant reaches an impressive height of around 1.8 metres, making it a bold presence in any garden. A powerful splash of colour and structure, this Dahlia is ideal for both garden drama and floral arrangements.
Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade location and should be planted out after the risk of frost has passed. With continuous dead heading Dahlias will bloom from summer up until late autumn early winter.
You don’t need to water your Dahlias in after planting, just keep them moist once they start to grow above the ground. Adding a slow-release tomato fertiliser in early summer and some Sulphate of Potash, then a mulch will help get the best of the blooms.
